This course is a smorgasbord of classic twills: straight, point, rosepath, M&W, broken, and more – not just for four or eight shafts, but on any number of shafts you want to use!
In the following lessons, you’ll learn what makes each one unique, what you need to know to about partial repeats or balancing repeats, and when to choose one over another. You’ll learn how to combine different twills together into a single threading, and how to pair one thing in the threading with something else in the treadling.
You’ll practice working with each of these twills in the Draft Editor, and even learn how to generate most of them in the Twill Generator.
By the end of this course, you’ll have the information and experience you need to design your own twill drafts from scratch, quickly and easily.
Classic Twill Threadings integrates the information found in several previous courses, including
