Crunching the Numbers

Take the anxiety out of weaving calculations

Math is unavoidable if you want to design your own projects or modify a project designed by someone else, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating.

This course takes the anxiety out of all the necessary number crunching by providing detailed, step by step instructions and clear explanations for all the math required for:

  • Project warp length and width calculations,
  • Recording measurements and using them to calculate dimensional loss,
  • Figuring out how much yarn you need for warp and weft (or how far the yarn you have will go), and
  • Various ways in which to change the specs of a project.

In addition, it provides you with easy to follow worksheets for all the calculations you might need to make.
